The removal of a basement oil tank is the same as for an above ground tank removal.  However, the Technicians will need plenty of elbow room to work.  The tank will be permitted, the remaining oil removed, cleaned and cut into maneageable pieces for removal.  The local inspector will make sure the tank did not leak and make sure that the fill and vent pipes have been removed and the foundation wall patched.

Lawes will issue a 'Certificate of Completion' upon completion for your files, insurance purposes and for the sale of your home.
